It is difficult to capture one’s personality in only ten sentences. As a freshman in college at Virginia Commonwealth University, I have only seen, tried, experienced, and accomplished a small fraction of what I wish to do with my life; however, the journey is only beginning. I currently work in a quilting shop and love to help people choose fabric, colors, and designs as it aids me in my study of fashion and fashion merchandising. In my free time, I love to watch and study old runway shows or binge-watch period dramas or baking shows on BBC. I tend to get carried away with finding inspiration through literature, magazines, Instagram, or art – I am constantly reading or saving Instagram photos to my profile to use as inspiration in later projects. I am also fascinated with food and restaurant culture which goes hand-in-hand with my love for traveling and exploring. I have been fortunate enough to explore many areas of the world and seen different cultures, yet I hope to continue to travel for the rest of my life. I believe traveling is what most clearly shapes a person and helps them find their true person and sense of being, which is why I am so passionate about it. As cliché as it sounds, my favorite place I have ever visited is Paris. The clothes, buildings, markets, cafes, people, shops, and everything else are filled with style, personality, and a love for culture and class. As I grow and continue to learn about life, fashion, and myself I hope this blog serves as an inspiration to myself and others!
